By
Sheriff Tony Chavis
December 20, 2019

DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. – Darlington County Sheriff Tony Chavis was presented with two male Bloodhound puppies this morning by local breeder Ty Neal of Darlington.  The puppies were born October 29 to Tracey and Trooper. They come with a certified pedigree by the American Kennel Club.

“It is wonderful to have community members like Mr. Neal who are willing to donate to law enforcement,” stated Sheriff Tony Chavis.  “These animals will be a great benefit to not only us, but to the people of Darlington County.”

Sheriff Tony Chavis is asking for the community's assistance naming the two Bloodhound puppies.  If you would like to submit your idea for names please send a message to our Facebook

The Bloodhounds and their Deputy handlers will begin training together after the New Year.
