DARLINGTON, S.C. – Darlington County Sheriff Tony Chavis has announced the arrest of a Hartsville man following an investigation into the selling of illegal narcotics at a residence on Sandwood Drive.
According to Sheriff Tony Chavis, narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant at 1147 Sandwood Drive, yesterday. “My narcotics Investigators conducted a thorough investigation following community complaints concerning illegal activity occurring at this residence,” stated Sheriff Tony Chavis. “Drugs, money, andguns, including a stolen pistol, were retrieved from the residence.”
Leon Davis Jr., 49, of Hartsville has been arrested and charged with possession of a stolen pistol, two counts of distribution of meth second offense, and possession with intent to distribute meth second offense.
