Deputies Investigating Death of Child

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Investigators with the Special Victims Unit are investigating the death of a two-year-old child.  Deputies were dispatched to an area hospital yesterday evening due to a child being treated for severe injuries, and the child later passed away.  

Investigators have arrested Jodi Breanna Holden, 21, of Hartsville, and Randall Scott Watson, Jr., 24, of Cheraw.  Both are currently being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center.  Holden is the mother of the child.  Investigators will seek charges this morning of unlawful conduct towards a child for Holden and Watson.  According to Investigators, additional charges are expected pending the outcome of the investigation.
