DARLINGTON, S.C. – Darlington County Sheriff Tony Chavis has announced Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division arrested Darrell Wayne Grady, 51, at a residence on Mustang Rd. around 12 p.m., today. Investigators were attempting to identify Grady who was allegedly seen on video surveillance burglarizing a residence on Potato House Rd.
“Between the Investigators hard work and ability to put this puzzle together along with tips received from the public we were able to apprehend his fellow, today” stated Sheriff Tony Chavis. According to Sheriff Chavis Grady is charged with Burglary, first degree, petit larceny and housebreaking. Grady is currently being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center and is expected to appear before a Darlington County Magistrate tomorrow.
